Quick Announcement

Love you all. I'm going to make my following status private. Don't take it personally. I still love you. I'll still read you. But the clique issues that have been raised in some circles have caused me concern that I might inadvertently be slighting someone. Don't want to do that. Not following publicly is my best shot at being clique neutral.

Smiles everyone, smiles!

And this is why I will never post my following. I cannot believe how many posts I read about it on a weekly basis. I lost a follower today. It's OK! I move on! But I do think it brings out such insecurities in people, and it's unfortunate.

The only thing I like about it is that I have found some fun blogs of people who start reading, but never leave a comment.

I really like how following organizes my blogs and I like how many people I've met through their decision to follow me. But I was beginning to get worried. And I do not need anything else to worry about. I really don't.

I'm so darn clueless--I don't even know what cliquey things you're talking about. But it's all good. I can see how the Following feature could cause angst.

Oh, it was you! Well, for the first time ever, I didn't feel bad when I lost a follower. I didn't even try to figure out who it was. Because I'm trying to be a grown up. But it's still good to have the mystery solved.

I was crying and crying because I lost a follower. Kidding. I totally get it. You're a smart lady.

There's cliques? I had no clue. I just do my own thing. I read who I want... when I want... and rarely comment because its too much work to click over from reader.

It's all good.

I don't follow. I agree, it was too much from the start for me. So I just stay away from it.

I was wondering why you were gone from my list! I wasn't aware of any clique issues, but then, I don't get around much!
